About the Al-Amin Ethics Institute
Named after Al-Amin, "The Trustworthy" - the title given to the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him - the Al-Amin Ethics Institute cultivates principled Muslim leadership, ethical clarity, and moral courage rooted in the Islamic tradition. As an initiative of Darul Qasim, we bring classical scholarship to the moral questions of contemporary life.
Our mission
We help Muslims navigate the complexity of modern life with integrity, through rigorous scholarship, applied practice, and a supportive community of learners. Our faculty of more than ten scholars has served over 500 students across the Islamic Ethics curriculum.
Scholarship: rigorous study of classical and contemporary Islamic ethics from authentic sources.
Practice: applied ethics for the real moral dilemmas of modern life, work, and community.
Community: a network of principled learners and leaders who support one another across years of study.
